Suggestions on what to do to keep parrot occupied while i am not home?

i work full time mon-fri 8am to 5pm but then after work i spend time at the gym and usually dont get home until around 7pm. i am getting a new parrot this weekend and i am worried about being out of the house for this long of a period of time. would it be a good idea to leave either the tv on or a radio? or would that be ok for a few hours but then drive the bird crazy? lol i have small birds that are ok being alone for awhilw but i know parrots are different and need interaction most of the day. and im not changing my lifestyle for a bird LOL what can i do?

Why not getting another parrot ? It wouldn?t be lonely anymore You can also try getting it a mirror and lots of toys. Would you consider maybe getting you?re parrot a bigger cage?
