The sun is out and the temperatures are rising- it is spring! There is no better time than now to enjoy a long walk round the park and to visit a seaside location but why not take advantage of the glorious weather by refurbishing the home for the new season?

- Spruce up the decor with bright furnishings and a fresh lick of paint to add a bit of colour into the home. It will revitalise the inside walls that have become damaged due to wear and tear and it will rejuvenate the house?s exterior after a harsh cold winter. The outside of a property can make or break a house sale as it is the first thing that a prospective buyer sees; so repair the front wall and paint the front door.
- Tidy the garden. With the warm weather and glorious sunshine, there is no better time than now to get out your gardening gloves out and tend to the overgrown shrubs and weeds. It doesn?t have to cost the earth to plant some pretty flowers and you can get the kids involved by giving them seeds to sow. - Check the roof. The blustery gales could have caused some of the roof tiles to become loose or even fall off which can cause huge costly repair bills as well as leaks. Leaking water can cause dampness so hire a local roofer to examine that the roof slates immediately.
- Utilise the extension. Whether you want to chill in a conservatory this spring or turn it into a greenhouse, take advantage of the extra living space.
